Magic Lamp Birthday Party
A Magic Lamp birthday party transports the children to Arabia, through a fun, interactive storytelling session that combines with a creative artist’s approach to painting to enable participants to explore Arabia from an artistic perspective.
Guests will be treated to a dynamic 30-minute storytelling session featuring Janice Edgar, author of Pierre’s Adventure in Arabia: Searching for the Heart of Dubai – a heartwarming tale about a Canada goose that lands in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and explores this fascinating world with the help of Faarasha Farhana, a painted lady butterfly indigenous to the region. Following the storytelling session, guests will share a meal featuring typical Middle Eastern fare.
Award-winning artist, Brenda Gale Warner will offer a 30-minute creative painting demonstration – explaining inspiration and how it leads to creativity. Guests will have an opportunity to watch her bring a painting to life as she makes a painting for the birthday boy or girl!
Suitable for ages 6 and up

Book your party at your own chosen time and date!
Every party includes individual copies of “The Moon King” for each child.
THE MIGHTY MOON KING was inspired by the artwork of award winning, multi-gold record receiving musician Tom Wilson. It is the brain child of local author/daycare owner Lynne Kittredge-Fox after being motivated by Tom's incredible artwork which he has been creating for the last decade.
The book has taken one of Tom's greatest paintings and used this work throughout the entire story, on every page, being accompanied by the words written by Lynne Kittredge-Fox.
Tom's painting created visions of night sky grandeur that provoked expressive story writing ideas for Lynne. This motivated writings about the universes' night life using Tom's art as the canvas for Lynne's words.
