…Galerie 240 opened itself. It took on a life force in Winnipeg and basically, I just executed its evolution.

The home at 240 Guigues Avenue in Ottawa was built in 1870. Only five families have lived here since then, and at one time it was owned by the Catholic Church and was used as a convent, complete with a chapel in the basement.

The Gardens are splendid in the summer filled with heritage and new flowers of every description and colour. If I like it I bring it to my garden and give it a home!
