“FLOWERS FROM MY SECRET GARDEN”

…is one of my earlier and ongoing series of works.

My flowers all have a very singular dedication and intent while I am bringing them to life. My largest to date is 5’ x 6’ called “Forget me Not” and is dedicated to the memory of my Dad, Owen Pye.

The new series “Paper Roses” is a study of the simple rose and its spectacular beauty. It was inspired by a comment about my imitation black roses that lined the walkway to my studio. Endless roses ….endless images **
