Photography, Paintings & Musings

  • "The Last Summer"

  • This painting took about a year of work on and off. As I was painting it, I wrote this poem:

"The flowers bow in silent prayer, the scent of sadness in the air

they cry... "Momma earth don't leave us, more seeds we send, 'oh not the end'!

The bees carry on and the bird left a song and her eggs, her only gift for hope.

The butterfly dances in the silvery clouds, but day is night and where is day? The old tree is tired, but

tries to be inspired by the squirrels silly play, the squirrels silly play!
